Thailand, 2015. The rental market here ran on tired machines, thin promises and whatever the season allowed. Someone had to build the other kind of company — bikes that were actually maintained, paperwork that was actually honest, a phone that was actually answered.
- May 2015. Phuket Motorbike Rental starts, as the answer to that market. An own fleet plus three partners put more than 400 scooters within reach over the next few years — checked machines, no scams — and the first rental on Phuket to deliver to the customer instead of making them come and find it.
- April 2020. The borders shut at the exact moment it started working.
- February 2023. Phuket Garage opens — the adventure bikes that had been the whole point in the first place, finally on the floor.
- Between. One-way rentals meant moving bikes back up and down the country ourselves, which turned out to be a business of its own.
- January 2026. Sendmoto opens that up to everyone else in Thailand who needs a motorcycle moved.
- March 2026. A war on the other side of the world swept the pieces off the board again. A small island, and still no shelter from it.

The quiet years in between took their own toll, the way they do. None of this was handed over. Every version of it was forged in the hours nobody watches — the early ones, the unpaid ones, the ones straight after the bad news.
A brand is not made in the good season.
It is made by the discipline that outlives the bad one.
So here is the next one. Same road, colder head. What it becomes is up to the years that haven't happened yet.
